The Fire Service Came To Visit

We have been learning how to keep ourselves safe in the event of a fire, by learning our addresses and how to call the emergency services.

Take a look at the wonderful time we had using the fire engines appliances and dressing up in safety clothing.

                 Barnardo's Bookshare.

An Early Years outreach worker from Barnardo's called Helen came to share a 'Little Lumpty' storysack with the Nursery chidren. She read the story then everyone worked together to work out a way to help Little Lumpty get down from his high wall. We all had so much fun!

Planting Bulbs

Today the Nursery children planted some spring bulbs. They really enjoyed the session with Mrs Marrett learning about different names for the bulbs and what the roots do to help the bulbs grow. Look out for the shoots with your children!

A Visit from the School Council

In Nursery today, the children had a special visit from the School Council, as well as the head boy and girl. They told us all about Anti Bullying Week and their assembly that they had just taken part in with the special theme... 'All Different All Equal'. We really enjoyed their visit, thank you.

Take A Look How Well We Have Settled Into Nursery

September 2017

A visit from Baby Annie and her mum!

As part of our learning project this term 'Why do you love me so much?' we have been sharing photographs of ourselves when we were babies which are being displayed in the Nursery. We also shared bath-time with Baby Annie, watching her play with her toys and helping to wash and dry her!

Parents In Partnership.

During this half term we have been learning all about ourselves and our families. Parents and carers visited Nursery to support their child in making a family collage picture. Come and see these wonderful creations which have been displayed in the Nursery hallway!
