Looking After Our Wellbeing
At Button Lane, we believe that positive mental health and wellbeing are just as important as physical health. We are committed to helping our children develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand their emotions, build resilience and know where to seek support when they need it.
Just as we encourage children to eat well, stay active and look after their physical health, we also encourage them to take care of their mental wellbeing every day. Small, positive actions can make a big difference to how we feel and help us to cope with life's challenges.
Each year, we proudly take part in World Children's Mental Health Day, joining schools across the country to raise awareness of children's mental health through a range of activities, discussions and learning opportunities.
