Our Link School
Having a 'link school' enhances global learning and the global dimension within our school.
With the support of our local global linking consultant, our Year 2 pupils have linked up with CEIP San Miguel school in Spain.
Keeping in Touch with our Link School
Year 2 pupils share their learning and pieces of work with their Spanish friends via email. It is wonderful for our pupils to receive email from children in another country, sharing their work with us too.
Our pupils reply with videos and photographs of pictures and writing in both Spanish and English and these have also been displayed around school.
Our older pupils study Spanish as their modern foreign language so it is fantastic that Year 2 children have the opportunity to engage with CEIP San Miguel and explore Spanish language and culture prior to transitioning to KS2.
