Chinese New Year
Each year, we celebrate Chinese New Year across school, hanging decorations and taking part in a wide range of activities.
Children learn about the Chinese calendar, practice using Chinese language for speaking and writing, taste traditional Chinese food, dance and make musical instruments, masks, dragons and streamers. We have even had a dragon parade through the school!
Pupils share their experiences of celebrating Chinese New Year at home with family, promoting our British Values.
