Our School Performance & OFSTED Report

School Performance Data

Throughout primary school, pupils complete a range of national assessments that help measure attainment and progress. These include the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile at the end of Reception, the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check, and Key Stage 2 SATs at the end of Year 6, which assess Reading, Mathematics, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling, alongside teacher assessment of Writing and Science. The results provide information about pupil achievement, support school improvement and contribute to national accountability measures.

The Department for Education (DfE) is the government department responsible for education and children's services in England. Its role is to improve educational outcomes by setting national policy, supporting schools and education professionals, promoting equal opportunities for all children and young people, and ensuring that services safeguard and support children's welfare.
