    On Tuesday 2nd June, at precisely 2:30pm, Button Lane pupils joined thousands of other children from across the world to sing the evocative Young Voices song 'Power in Me'. What a fantastic moment of solidarity and empowerment. We are proud of all of you!
  • Back to Home School
    From Monday 8th June, home learning will resume on the website. Please go to the Home Learning Zone to access your weekly home learning schedule and resources. Please email your teacher with any questions and to share your learning.
  • 30 Days Wild
    This year we are taking part in The Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days Wild challenge. It is a month long initiative that aims to get people making the most of the outdoors and engaging with nature.
  • Earth Day 2020
    This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day (22 April 2020). Follow the link and use the student code to access free resources to have fun on Earth Day! Student code: 28408
  • Bike Right!
    Bike Right will be returning throughout February for year six. Please make sure you return letters when they are given out and if you are using your own bike, please check it against the requirements Bike Right need.
  • Young Voices
    Young Voices is taking place on Tuesday 24th January. Please make sure all letters have been handed back to Miss Earley and you remember everything you need as its a long day!
  • Christmas Dinner Day
    We will be having Christmas Dinner on Wednesday 20th December. If your child is on packed lunches but would like a Christmas Dinner you will need to pay a small amount.
  • Christingle
    Christingle will be held at Lawton Moor next to school on the 19th December at 6pm. This is a fantastic night for year six and everyone is welcome to attend.
  • Christmas Fayre
    Don't forget our Christmas Fayre is on Tuesday 5th December at 3pm. There will be lots of stalls and handmade Christmas gifts! There's even the chance to visit Santa!
